Prof. Masato Yasui

Professor Yasui conducts research in pharmacology at Keio University and the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, focusing on earth science, molecular and cellular biology, and developmental physiology. His research utilizes cutting-edge techniques, including nonlinear optical microscopy, near-infrared spectroscopy, and two-photon MRI, to observe water diffusion across cell membranes and the dynamics of free and bound water inside and outside cells with high temporal and spatial resolution. Additionally, computational science is incorporated to enhance the analysis.

安井教授は、慶応大学や医学部薬理学教室で、約地学、分子細胞生物学、発達生理学を研究しています。研究方法としては、最先端の非線形光学顕微鏡、近赤外分光装置そして二量子MRIを用いて細胞膜水拡散と細胞内外の自由水・構造水を高い時間･空間分解能で観測し、更に計算機科学を併用しながら解析していきます。
