Is this for you?
Preview is for you if you want to produce an Aquagram® from prepared spectra and understand what you are looking at — whether you are new to aquaphotomics, teaching it, or evaluating whether the method suits your work. Everything you need is bundled: two sample datasets, one fixed workflow, four export formats.
Preview does not do the following. None of it is hidden behind a setting; it is genuinely absent:
- Live MicroNIR control, or any connection to an instrument
- Saved projects or sessions
- Manual preprocessing, or editing which wavelengths count as WAMACS
- PCA, SIMCA, PLSR, or any other modelling
- Anything beyond Average, Add, and Subtract on prepared rows

What you get
- Two bundled datasets. Demo 1 — Natural Systems (nine groups of rock and mineral scans) and Demo 2 — Water (four groups of water-source scans). You can start without supplying anything.
- Your own files too. MicroNIR
.sam, vendor CSV, and vendor XLSX. - One approved workflow. SNV across a range you choose, then standardization, then repeat averaging — applied identically every time, so two people with the same file get the same chart.
- Four exports. XLSX and CSV carry one column per plotted line, enough to redraw the chart in your own tools; PNG and JPG capture the chart with its legend.
- English and Japanese, switchable at any time.
